Advancing education for youth in peripheral urban communities, Delhi NCR
The only real education is self-education, and our youth must develop an unrelenting hunger for learning. As part of The Emissary Cares initiative, the MIMA Learning Centre in Delhi NCR was equipped with digital infrastructure, desktops, interactive boards, and digital modules, to enhance learning and creativity for underserved urban communities. I engaged with students and parents, emphasizing that education is the enduring pathway to a better life and urging continued support for children’s aspirations. With over 52% of India’s population under 30, this is a defining moment for marginalised youth to pursue education and skills, harnessing the nation’s growth for prosperity with dignity. I remain proud of our volunteers and deeply respect the founders of MIMA for their dedication to uplifting the community.

Delighted to participate in FICCI’s 3rd Global Industrial Relations Summit in New Delhi, inaugurated by Union Minister Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya. Chairman Mr. Atharv Singh and Director, Mr. Ishaan Gupta called on Mr. Dushyant Chautala, Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana and Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. They discussed multiple issues pertinent to youth and teen empowerment in India and explored collaborative options to provide highly lucrative opportunities to teenagers in the country. The Emissary’s team took up issues of lack of awareness on international developments and limited scope of engagement with the bureaucratic apparatus for the youth in the country. The Foreign Secretary took note of The Emissary’s efforts and assured of all cooperation in The Emissary’s endeavours.

Climate change and its wide ranging consequences are the single largest challenges of our times. Melting glaciers, forest fires, floods, hurricanes and sweltering heat are causing unprecedented loss to human life, its means and prospects. Nevertheless, in the midst of the gloom, there is hope in knowing that climate change being a global threat, compels all humanity to join hands and strive for their shared future, together.

Achieving Global Harmony & Peace:
We learn from history that we learn nothing from history. Wars throughout human history have inflicted unanticipated devastation, death and despondency across the world; more worrying is the fact that they are often motivated by futile reasons of conflict. In today’s globalised world, war anywhere is a threat to people everywhere. Collective human civilisational experience is evident to people and nations across the globe that war is fatally stupid and it cannot be afforded in our times.

Securing Universal Human Rights & Freedom:
A fundamental achievement of global historical developments is the provision of or the eagerness to realise the rights and freedoms of the individual. Emphasis on the individual empowers our global society with highly able, aware and astute citizens, aspiring meaningful and prudent progress. Yet in our modern world, people remain restrained in authoritarian regimes. It must, therefore, be the collective agenda and commitment of all global citizens to ensure and labour for universal human rights and freedom for all those of our kind.

Responsible & Equitable Technological Growth:
Technology and its various aspects are the engines of the current human evolutionary journey. Technologies’ capabilities remain largely unrealised and its wonders, unfathomable. However, equally potent are its faculty to harm, jeopardise or corrupt human values, judgement and well-being. The inequitable harnessing of it to further particular agendas, sets challenging precedents that downgrade the very essence of humanism and our capabilities to connect and cooperate as equals.
